In the summer of 2019, my 5 and 9 year old sons were very into drawing their favorite animals. On a whim, I asked if I could paint their drawings, and we immediately fell in love with making art together. The quirky personalities that developed from our little collaborations kept us coming back and creating little pieces together ever since. I love seeing how their drawing skills have developed, and how their styles and weird animal interests have changed. In a very short time, we had a hefty collection of drawings we loved, and with the encouragement of supportive friends and family, we decided to create our little art business on Etsy, 2ducksandagoose, where we offer cards and prints of our work.
All illustrations are hand drawn on watercolor paper by my kids in pencil. Before painting, I consult with them to make sure I don't ruin their vision, then paint them with their instruction with watercolor, and finish by going over their pencil lines and detailing with micron pen. It is so much fun. We hope you enjoy our little creations as much as we've enjoyed making them together.

Noah's main interests are dinosaurs, birds, and axolotls. He is always creating.
Elijah
Elijah enjoys sharks the most, but we also took on the challenge of insects and crustaceans because of his talent with detail work.
